Network Engineer (RAN) Contract

Can be based in London, Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester, Ipswich, or Glasgow
Hybrid Working (3 days on site per week)
Paying between £300 to £418 Per Day
Inside IR35

Your new role

We're looking for an experienced Network Engineer (RAN) to support mobile network performance, KPI analysis, incident investigation, and service improvement activities within a large-scale telecommunications environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyse network KPIs and performance trends
  • Investigate service degradation, network alarms, and customer-impacting issues
  • Perform root cause analysis and drive issues through to resolution
  • Deliver RF tuning and performance optimisation activities
  • Work closely with operational teams and managed service providers
  • Produce evidence-based recommendations to support business decisions and network investment
  • Support AI and automation initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency

What you'll need to succeed

  • Strong RAN / Mobile Network Engineering background
  • Experience analysing network performance and service KPIs
  • Incident management and root cause analysis expertise
  • Experience working within live operational telecoms environments
  • Knowledge of RAN technologies
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills

Desirable

  • Atoll planning tools
  • Drive test or survey analysis
  • Coverage modelling and optimisation experience
  • Exposure to AI, automation, or advanced analytics initiatives
