Network Engineer | Cisco ISE & Wireless
£500 per day | Initial Contract until December | Hybrid
We’re looking for an experienced SC cleared Network Engineer to join an infrastructure programme, supporting the delivery of several key network upgrade and refresh projects.
This is a hands-on engineering position with a particular focus on Cisco ISE and Cisco Wireless, working across both implementation and network design.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for supporting several ongoing network initiatives, including:

- Cisco ISE upgrades and enhancements
- Cisco Wireless Controller refreshes
- Reviewing and optimising Wireless LAN configurations
- Network upgrade and refresh activities
- Troubleshooting and resolving network issues
- Supporting network design and implementation
- Working across a wider multi-vendor network environment
What We’re Looking For
You'll ideally have strong hands-on experience with:
- Cisco ISE
- Cisco Wireless / Wireless LAN Controllers
- Enterprise network upgrades and migrations
- Network design and implementation
- Cisco routing and switching
- Active SC clearance is a mandatory requirement
- Broader networking technologies from vendors such as Juniper, Aruba, and Fortinet

Location & Working Pattern
- Essex: 2 days per week onsite
- Additional travel to Farnborough and data centre locations when required
- Remote working for the remainder of the week
