We’re recruiting for a Network Engineer
To join a specialist networking business that is continuing to grow following a strong period of project wins.
This is a good opportunity for someone who already has a solid networking foundation and wants to move further into hands-on project delivery, implementation and customer environments.
The role combines network support and project work, giving you exposure to live customer environments while also getting involved in upgrades, migrations, deployments and wider infrastructure projects.
You’ll be involved in:
- Network implementation and project delivery
- LAN, WAN and wireless environments
- Routing and switching
- Network upgrades and migrations
- Configuring and deploying network equipment
- Cisco and multi-vendor networking
- SD-WAN environments
- Network troubleshooting and technical escalation
- Testing and validation
- Customer cutovers
- Supporting live customer environments
- Working alongside senior engineers on larger projects
- Producing technical and project documentation
- Taking increasing ownership as you develop

You do not need to tick every technology listed.
What I’m Looking For
I’d be keen to speak with people coming from backgrounds such as:
- Network Engineer
- Network Support Engineer
- Network Infrastructure Engineer
- Network Project Engineer
- Network Implementation Engineer
- 2nd / 3rd Line Network Engineer
- NOC Engineer looking for more project exposure
The strongest profiles will have good networking fundamentals alongside genuine hands-on experience configuring, troubleshooting or implementing network infrastructure.
Experience across Cisco is particularly useful, with any exposure to Juniper, Aruba, Fortinet, ISE, ClearPass or SD-WAN being beneficial.

Project experience is also important, whether that has been through:
- Network rollouts
- Switch upgrades
- Wireless deployments
- SD-WAN
- Customer migrations
- Site cutovers
- Hardware refreshes
- LAN / WAN projects
You do not need to be a finished senior engineer.
This business has a strong track record of developing engineers who have the right fundamentals and want to progress technically.
