Network Engineer
Contract Duration: 6 months
Location: Hybrid, 2 days onsite per week
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Cisco NSO automation, service models, and workflows.
- Lead migration and transformation across Cisco 8000, ASR 9000, and NCS platforms.
- Design and support large-scale WAN, MAN, and Optical Transport networks.
- Troubleshoot routing and control-plane issues in production IOS-XR environments.
- Build low-level designs, runbooks, and rollback plans for migrations.
- Drive infrastructure-as-code and model-driven automation initiatives.
- Support change management, CAB reviews, and root cause analysis.
- Maintain engineering standards and technical documentation.

What We're Looking For
Essential:
- 10+ years in large enterprise or service provider network environments.
- Expert knowledge of Cisco IOS-XR architecture and troubleshooting.
- Strong grounding in MPLS, Segment Routing, BGP, ISIS, OSPF, and EVPN.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco 8000, ASR 9000, or NCS 5500/5700.
- Strong Cisco NSO experience, including YANG, Python, and NETCONF/REST.
- Experience with DWDM and optical transport networking.
- Strong stakeholder management and vendor engagement skills.
Desirable:
- CCNP or CCIE (Enterprise or Service Provider).
- Experience with Cisco Crosswork, Terraform, or Ansible.
- Financial services or investment banking experience.
- Cloud networking exposure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- SD-WAN or Arista CloudVision experience.
