Network Expansion & Solutions Lead

Contract Role | Telecoms Infrastructure

We are seeking an experienced Network Expansion & Solutions Lead to drive the development and delivery of network growth opportunities across telecoms and digital infrastructure environments.
This is a high-profile contract role responsible for identifying, assessing and delivering new site and connectivity solutions that support network expansion, customer requirements, and commercial growth. You'll work across the full lifecycle, from opportunity identification and business case development through planning, design, deployment, and operational handover.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new network expansion opportunities across macro sites, rooftop assets, streetworks infrastructure, and neutral host solutions.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of commercially viable growth opportunities.
  • Develop business cases, investment proposals, and commercial assessments for expansion projects.
  • Lead engagement with landlords, developers, local authorities, suppliers, and strategic partners.
  • Oversee site feasibility, planning, permitting, and design activities.
  • Work closely with engineering, property, legal, and delivery teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Monitor programme performance, timelines, budgets, risks, and dependencies.
  • Support the development of innovative connectivity and shared infrastructure solutions.
  • Present recommendations, business cases, and project updates to senior stakeholders.

About You

We're looking for candidates who can demonstrate:

  • Experience within telecoms, mobile networks, digital infrastructure, or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of network expansion, site acquisition, and connectivity solutions.
  • Experience leading end-to-end site development and deployment programmes.
  • Commercial expertise, including business case development and contract negotiation.
  • Knowledge of planning, permitting, design, and construction processes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Strong programme and project delivery experience.
