Network Expert Manager
Location: London
Working pattern: Office-based
Salary: £60,000–£75,000 + Bonuses
Employment type: Permanent
The Role:
We've partnered with an AI startup to find a Network Expert Manager to join their London team and help source and engage the specialist professionals required for a growing portfolio of AI projects.
You'll take ownership of sizeable expert sourcing projects, identifying and engaging professionals across rapidly changing specialist areas. Projects can require hundreds of experts, so this role suits someone comfortable working at pace, managing significant volumes and finding high-quality professionals against specific and sometimes complex briefs.
Responsibilities:
- Own expert sourcing projects from initial brief through to building and delivering the required expert pipeline.
- Source and engage specialist professionals across a broad range of industries, functions and subject areas.
- Manage projects requiring significant volumes of experts while maintaining quality and relevance.
- Translate complex or unfamiliar project requirements into clear sourcing strategies and target profiles.
- Use LinkedIn, databases, professional networks, referrals and direct outreach to identify relevant experts.
- Develop targeted outreach campaigns and test different approaches to improve expert engagement and response rates.
- Screen and qualify experts against project requirements before progressing them through onboarding.
- Manage multiple sourcing projects simultaneously, prioritising activity against changing deadlines and requirements.
- Build relationships with experts to support repeat engagement and grow the wider expert network.
- Use sourcing and pipeline data to understand performance, identify bottlenecks and improve conversion.
- Use technology, AI and automation to make sourcing activity more efficient and scalable.
- Work closely with internal teams to understand upcoming project demand and ensure the right expert pipelines are being developed.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 5 years' experience within an expert network, specialist recruitment, executive search, talent sourcing or similar environment.
- Strong experience sourcing and engaging specialist professionals, including difficult-to-find profiles.
- Proven ability to independently manage high-volume or complex sourcing projects from brief through to delivery.
- Comfortable managing multiple projects and large pipelines in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Confident using data, technology and AI/automation to improve sourcing performance and efficiency.
