Network Infrastructure Engineer
Network Infrastructure Engineer with strong Azure and Palo Alto knowledge are wanted by an established FinTech software company, who are undertaking a large technology transformation into AI and Automation.
Working at the intersection of traditional network infrastructure and cloud network infrastructure. You will support an environment consisting of Meraki Enterprise, and Palo Alto Firewalls across multiple sites, playing a crucial role in the company's transformation journey.
The business likes to give out responsibility to their Engineers and you’ll be involved in decision making and taking ownership of the technical landscape. You’d be joining a company who love modern technologies and practices, they give their Engineers 4 hours a week to study and £2,500 every year to fund it. The team collaborate 2 days a week within their modern Central London office.

Technical Background:
- Real-world experience with Palo Alto Firewalls & Meraki Enterprise gear
- Strong Azure networking knowledge (bonus points for AWS/Google Cloud)
- Solid grasp of TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, IPSec VPNs, and QoS
- Automation and scripting skills – Cloudflare, Windows Server, etc.
- A mindset that thrives on ownership, efficiency, and collaboration
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and support our physical and cloud networks across multiple sites
- Hands-on with WANs, VPNs, Firewalls, and Wireless Networks
- Automate infrastructure tasks using tools like Terraform and Consul
- Maintain our Teams Telephony and core LAN/WAN services
- Collaborate with InfoSec to enhance security across our environments
