M GROUP LTD is currently looking to recruit a Network Inspector to work on our Hinkley Point C contract in Bridgwater, Somerset.

Role Overview

As the Network Inspector you will be part of our Core service team who are responsible for managing and delivering core service maintenance on HPC and its associated development sites.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage the Green route and White space areas around HPC and its associated development sites by carrying out planned and reactive inspections and identifying defects and arranging repair through a "right method, right time" approach and in accordance with our Inspection manual.
  • Working collaboratively with Stakeholders to ensure access to Site Operations areas are maintained and free flow movement around site is maintained at optimum levels.
  • Ensure works are completed to a satisfactory standard and that teams are supplied with all necessary documentation in accordance with NNB procedures to complete their tasks.
  • Ensure the highest possible health & safety & environmental standards are employed across the service adhering to M GROUP and NNB health and safety policy culture.
  • Optional participation in winter service.
  • Other duties associated with this role in support of the non-working Supervisor and the Site Agents.

Skills & Knowledge Requirements

  • Technical knowledge and experience in undertaking inspections and defect identifications.
  • Recording and capture of defect on procore construction management software system.
  • Sufficient knowledge in highway maintenance and keeping abreast of innovation and technical advances within this industry that will assist in our service delivery on this contract.
  • Experience of managing direct labour and subcontractors.
  • Site Supervisors safety training scheme (SSSTS).
  • Hold a recognised Highway Inspector accreditation (Preferred).
  • CSCS Card.
  • Good IT Skills.
  • Clean driving licence.
