Treasury Banking & Custody Network Manager

Cantor Fitzgerald is seeking an experienced Treasury Banking & Custody Network Manager to lead and develop its banking, custody, clearing and cash-management network across EMEA and APAC.
This is a hands-on role with broad exposure across Treasury, Legal, Compliance, Operations and Front Office. You will manage key agent-bank and custodian relationships, strengthen service delivery and support strategic business, regulatory and operational initiatives across the region.
Key responsibilities
- Build, maintain and develop relationships with banks, custodians, clearing providers and other network partners across EMEA and APAC.
- Act as the primary escalation point for service issues, relationship meetings and agent-bank surveys.
- Manage the full bank-account lifecycle, including account opening, closure, maintenance and associated documentation.
- Lead RFP processes for new providers, business initiatives and service improvements.
- Monitor provider SLAs, service performance and operational issues, escalating material deficiencies where appropriate.
- Produce reporting on bank and custodian fees, service metrics and market developments to assess competitiveness and identify improvement opportunities.
- Coordinate implementation of board-approved signing authorities, signature lists and corporate documentation with agent banks.
- Oversee due-diligence, KYC and annual review submissions for banking agents and counterparties.
- Support network-management projects, including acquisition integration, credit-marketing activity and analytical reviews.
- Coordinate network-related activity across Treasury, Legal, Compliance, Operations and Front Office.
- Share relevant market notifications and alerts relating to CSDs, settlement, payments and market infrastructure.

- Proven experience in treasury network management, banking relationships, custody, clearing or cash management.
- Strong knowledge of banking, custody and settlement practices across EMEA and APAC.
- An established industry network and the confidence to manage senior external relationships.
- Up-to-date understanding of relevant market practice, regulation and operational-risk requirements.
- Experience of account management, KYC, bank documentation and provider due diligence.
- Strong project-management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, including reporting, data analysis and presentation development.
- Experience with treasury-management systems, ideally Kyriba; familiarity with AI tools such as Claude would be advantageous.
- Clear, credible communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple functions and levels of seniority.
- A proactive, commercially minded and practical approach to resolving issues and delivering change.
