About The Role
The role of a Network Monitoring Specialist supports the operational performance, monitoring, and stability of a large-scale IoT network of approximately 15,000 digital screens across the UK and EU.
Working within the Screen Support & Monitoring function, this position plays a critical role in ensuring screens remain online, updated, and displaying the correct content. This role directly contributes to our goal of achieving 99% network availability, delivering accurate customer campaigns, and maintaining landlord confidence in the reliability of our estate.

What You'll Be Doing
- Monitor real-time dashboards and alerting systems to identify network outages, offline devices, screen failures, and content-rendering issues, while triaging and prioritizing alerts based on severity, SLAs, and service impact.
- Perform first and second-line technical diagnostics and corrective actions using logs, diagnostic tools, and remote-access platforms to determine root causes and restore service.
- Investigate campaign-related issues like missing, incorrect, or outdated content by validating scheduling, creative status, and programmatic delivery, and re-sync or republish campaigns to affected devices.
- Document all actions, findings, and resolutions within the service management system, contributing to knowledge articles while escalating persistent or high-impact issues to senior engineers, specialists, or on-site operations.
- Collaborate closely with remote support engineers, field teams, technology partners, and internal business teams to ensure quick resolution, and analyze incident trends and operational data to participate in root cause analysis, automation, and reliability improvements.
The role operates across three shifts (UK time):
· 07:00 – 16:00 · 09:00 – 18:00 · 14:00 – 23:00
This role will work across these shifts as part of a rotating schedule. Occasional flexibility may be required to support major incidents or urgent operational needs. This will be compensated with an additional 15%.

What You'll Bring To The Team
- Experience in NOC operations, technical support, device monitoring, or IoT environments.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and networking.
- Familiarity with logs, monitoring dashboards, alerting systems, and remote device-control tools.
- Experience working in high pressured environments where rapid incident response and operational continuity are critical.
