Network Operations Centre Lead
I'm currently recruiting for a Network Operations Centre Lead to join a large financial services environment, taking ownership of 24x7 NOC operations, service delivery and technical leadership.
Job Details
- Location: Central London
- Onsite Requirements: 2 days onsite per week
- Contract Type: 12-month contract | Strong potential to extend
- Contractor Type: Inside IR35 | Flexible day rate depending on experience
- Start Date: November start preferred | January also considered
- Interview Process: 2-stage interview process
- Experience: Financial services experience advantageous

The Role
You'll act as the operational lead for the NOC service, overseeing service performance, incident management, technical escalations and operational governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading P1 & P2 major incident management
- Managing SLAs, KPIs and service delivery
- Coordinating internal teams, vendors and key stakeholders
- Providing executive-level communications during major incidents
- Driving continual service improvement
- Overseeing change governance and vulnerability remediation
- Managing vendor relationships and service performance
- Supporting CAB and change advisory discussions

Technical Experience
We're looking for strong experience across:
- Cisco LAN/WAN & Routing & Switching
- Cisco ACI
- Palo Alto & Fortinet
- Wireless Infrastructure
- F5 / NetScaler
- SolarWinds & Cisco ThousandEyes
- Incident & Problem Management
- ITIL & Service Delivery Leadership
- Vendor Management
Ideal Background
- 10+ years' Network Operations experience
- 5+ years' enterprise NOC experience
- Strong technical and operational leadership
- Experience managing major incidents and service escalations
- Financial services experience is advantageous
Preferred Certifications
- CCNP
- PCNSE
- NSE 4/5
