Network Operations Manager
Bristol, Hybrid
Up to £95,000 + Bonus
The role:
We're working with a leading financial services organisation that is looking for an experienced manager to take ownership of its enterprise hosting and network environment.
This is a senior leadership position with responsibility for a team of engineers, operational governance, and the resilience and improvement of business-critical technology.
Responsibilities:
- Leading, developing and managing a hosting & network engineering team
- Owning the governance and operational performance of enterprise hosting and data centre environments
- Driving infrastructure resilience, disaster recovery, backup and business continuity
- Managing strategic technology suppliers and third-party partners
- Overseeing virtualisation, compute, storage and enterprise network infrastructure
- Ensuring infrastructure security and controls meet regulatory and internal requirements
- Improving operational maturity through automation and IaC
- Acting as a senior escalation point for infrastructure risk, resilience and operational issues

Requirements:

- Proven experience managing hosting and/or network teams in a regulated environment (ideally the financial services)
- Strong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure, data centres and network operations
- A track record of improving operational maturity, governance and controls
- Good understanding of infrastructure risk, audit and regulatory requirements
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with senior technical and non-technical stakeholders
