About the Role
UK Network Performance Manager
At ubitricity, we make charging simple — and so is working with us. As part of our Operations Team, you'll play a key role in maximising the performance and utilisation of one of the UK's largest public EV charging networks.
As the Network Performance Manager, you will act as the operational owner of a portfolio of boroughs and charging assets, ensuring the network delivers strong utilisation, operational performance, and customer outcomes. You'll be the primary point of contact for councils and internal stakeholders on day-to-day operational matters, contract performance, coordinating responses to requests such as relocations, site improvements, and asset-performance challenges.
Using data, operational expertise, and technical understanding of EV charging infrastructure, you'll identify underperforming assets, understand root causes, and drive targeted interventions that improve network utilisation, asset reliability, and customer experience. You will also support the evaluation and implementation of technical solutions that improve network performance and operational efficiency.
If you enjoy solving problems, turning data into action, and working across multiple stakeholders to deliver measurable improvements, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
Own Network Performance & Utilisation
- Monitor network utilisation and performance, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Analyse asset, site, borough, and regional performance to identify underperforming locations.
- Investigate root causes of underperformance, including siting, visibility, accessibility, usage patterns, charger performance, technical constraints, and operational issues.
Act as the Key Point of Contact for Boroughs & Councils
- Serve as the primary operational contact for councils and key stakeholders.
- Coordinate responses to operational enquiries, requests, and improvement opportunities.
- Support client reviews and performance discussions with data-led insights and recommendations.
- Work closely with Partnership Managers to drive network improvements and support customer engagement.
- Provide technical guidance and recommendations relating to charger performance, site optimisation, asset relocations, and infrastructure improvements.
- Support councils and stakeholders in understanding technical considerations that impact network performance and user experience.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
