About Our Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Bulk Network Transport Manager to lead and develop our Bulk Network transport operation. As a senior hire, you will be responsible for:
- Delivering efficient, compliant, and high-performing transport
- Meets agreed service, performance, and cost targets
- Collaborates with commercial, finance, and operational teams
- Ensures right resources, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
- Lead the development & performance of Bulk & Artic Network transport
- Manage haulier compliance, service levels, contracts, and rates
- Ensure accurate & timely haulier invoice processing and payment
Commercial & Operational Excellence
- Partner with commercial teams to interpret forecasts and align resources
- Analyse service performance to identify improvement opportunities
- Optimise budgets for service & operational efficiency
- Drive continuous improvement culture
Team Development
- Lead, develop, and motivate a transport team to meet targets
- Foster solid stakeholder communication
Network & Financial Management
- Work with finance to analyse haulier spend and provide performance summaries
- Build an agile haulier network to meet shifting business demand
Who You Are
We are looking for candidates with:
- Proven experience in transport/haulier network management
- Track record managing teams, vehicles, and multi-site operations
- National or International Commercial Vehicle Driving CPC (Certification of Professional Competence) qualification
- Strong commercial awareness, including cost & budget management
- Ability to communicate confidently and influence at all levels
- Methodical, proactive, solutions-focused leadership approach
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, hands-on mindset
- Strong geographic knowledge of operating regions
- Flexibility to travel and work extended hours as needed
