Network Security Engineer (SC Cleared)
UK Remote/Hybrid
6 Month Contract
£380/day (Outside IR35)
Network Security Engineer needed with active SC Security Clearance for a 6 Month Contract. Start ASAP in August/September 2026.
The vast majority of the work is expected to be remote. However, there may be occasional travel to UK customer sites including - Warwick, Wokingham, Corsham + Farnborough.
Working with a global IT Consultancy supporting a leading Telecoms end client:
- Must have strong hands-on experience of: F5, Zscaler + Palo Alto technologies. Checkpoint, Juniper, Bluecoat, Cisco Network Solutions
- Technical Ownership of Customer Security infrastructure estate, processes, procedures, documentation + life cycle management.
- Acting as technical point of reference + escalation for Security related changes, modifications + projects for firewall rule bases.
- Technical point of contact for vendor support for security infrastructure incidents.
- Design of customer networks including the support of High Level design (HLD) and Low Level design (LLD).
- Providing technical support, Change management, for hard physical changes + soft remote changes, customer inventory management, hardware software, EOL.
