Network Security Engineer opportunity - 6 month Contract - Quantitative Technology - London
Looking for an experienced Network Security Engineer with a strong background in designing and operating high-performance, resilient network security infrastructure.
You'll work across a global environment supporting highly technical research and technology operations, with significant ownership across security design, implementation and strategic initiatives.

The focus is on enterprise network security, working closely with Security Architecture and wider infrastructure teams to deliver secure, scalable and reliable environments.
You'll bring strong experience across enterprise firewalls, particularly Fortinet and Palo Alto, alongside web proxies, traffic inspection and F5 technologies.
A deep understanding of packet inspection, TCP/IP, routing, switching, DNS and modern network security principles will be important.

Experience with security frameworks such as NIST or CIS, automation/scripting and Privileged Access Management will be highly relevant.
