Job Title: Network Stocks Planning Team Leader

Location: Hybrid - We would consider candidates in any of these following locations: Mansfield, Northampton, Leeds, Wolverhampton, and Blackburn to work from on site.

Job Length: 12 Month FTC Full Time

About the role:

We are now recruiting for a Network Stocks Planning Team Leader who will lead a small team of supply planners through various projects and manage the day to day running on site.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a small team of Stock Planners, improving performance and engagement.
  • Manage ATP blocking codes so they stay aligned with the current supply position, while addressing risks and communicating any supply interruptions.
  • Support transformation across network planning by implementing new operating methods and closing knowledge gaps or process delays.
  • Partner with commercial teams to manage and approve deviations from standard age-on-sale policies.
  • Serve as an escalation point for supply disruptions (third-party and internal), ensuring issues are resolved and supplier performance concerns are addressed.
  • Monitor team service levels, implementing improvement plans to consistently meet business expectations.
  • Develop a positive, proactive can do culture within the team.
  • Minimise inventory shrinkage, ensuring overage is effectively managed, reported, and provisioned.
  • Develop productive relationships with key stakeholders in logistics, procurement, and customer service.
  • Travel between sites as needed to support the team and maintain effective on-site engagement.

Experience and Key Attributes:

  • Previous experience in a similar role or business within FMCG
  • Previous experience in first line management
  • Good working knowledge of SAP ECC as well as advances knowledge of APO is desired
  • Comfortable working within tight deadlines particularly where priorities may be competing
  • Able to respond well to shifting priorities and act on their own
  • Effective communicator who can develop collaborative relationships across functions
  • Highly detail-oriented
