Location: Mansfield, NG18 – Hybrid Job Length: Permanent – Full Time

About the Role

We are seeking a Network Stocks Planning Team Leader to lead a small team of supply planners, overseeing project execution and daily operations. This role is critical in maintaining efficient supply chain alignment while driving continuous improvement.

  • Team Leadership

    • Lead and develop a small team of Stock Planners, fostering high performance and engagement.
    • Build and maintain a proactive, “can do” culture within the team.
  • Supply Chain Management

    • Oversee ATP (Available-to-Promise) blocking codes, ensuring alignment with supply risks and mitigating interruptions.
    • Act as the escalation point for supply disruptions (both third-party and internal), resolving issues and addressing supplier performance concerns.
  • Process & Transformation

    • Support network planning transformation by implementing new operating methods and bridging knowledge gaps.
    • Collaboratively refine policies, particularly around deviations from age-on-sale standards.
  • Performance & Efficiency

    • Monitor team service levels, implementing improvement plans to meet business expectations.
    • Minimise inventory shrinkage by managing overage and reporting disparities effectively.
  • Stakeholder Engagement

    • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders in logistics, procurement, and customer service.
    • Travel to sites as needed to support the team and ensure on-site engagement.

Requirements & Key Attributes

  • Experience & Expertise
    • Previous experience in a similar role within FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods).
    • Hands-on experience in first-line management.
    • Strong SAP ECC knowledge (advanced APO – Advanced Planning and Optimization experience is desirable).
    • Comfort working under tight deadlines, adapting to shifting priorities independently.
