2nd Line Network Engineer
Birmingham (4 Days in the Office) | £37,000 + Benefits
We're recruiting on behalf of one of the UK's largest Managed Service Providers, looking to add an experienced 2nd Line Network Engineer to its growing Service Operations team.
This is a hands-on technical role supporting enterprise networking environments across a broad customer base. You'll work with a wide range of Cisco networking and security technologies, providing advanced troubleshooting, resolving complex incidents, and acting as a key escalation point while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

What we're looking for:
- Must have worked for an IT Solutions provider, IT Reseller, IT VAR, or MSP.
- Previous experience as a 2nd Line Network Engineer, Network Support Engineer or Network Engineer.
- Strong hands-on experience supporting enterprise networking environments.
- Experience with Cisco Routing & Switching, wireless technologies and network troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of VLANs, VPNs, firewalls and network security.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to manage incidents through to resolution.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
