Who we are:

Established in 1999, Modern Networks are the leading specialist provider of managed IT and Telecoms services to the specific sector markets. This role sits within our independent Internet Service Provider (ISP) and work with customers all over the UK providing a range of IT, connectivity, telephony and security services. As a group, we have businesses who provide services to science parks, commercial property, Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs), and education. The ISP unit primarily serves the needs of our science parks customers and provides the ISP core network all Modern Networks connectivity customers rely on.

The Role:

This role sits within our Support team, servicing our ISP & Science Park customers. You will triage, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents and service requests across customer CPE, campus edge, and core ISP services—owning cases through to resolution or clear escalation. Alongside day-to-day support, you will on occasion also contribute to delivery activities such as equipment pre-staging, on-site turn-ups, change windows and upgrades. This role requires occasional travel across the UK and the ability to respond quickly to critical incidents.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
