About the Company

Brainotech IT Solutions is a global IT services and managed infrastructure company providing end-to-end enterprise technology solutions. The company specializes in supporting distributed organizations with scalable IT operations, field engineering, and infrastructure management.

Scope of Work

The Engineer will be responsible for carrying out on-site hardware deployment activities, including accepting and receiving the delivery of equipment at the designated site, decommissioning existing mount and timeclock devices, installing and mounting timeclock devices and associated peripherals, installing thin clients/kiosks and peripherals, and installing the hardware specified in the site-specific BOM. The Engineer will perform hardware functionality validation and testing, provide on-site assistance with plugin installation troubleshooting and testing on Amazon laptops, and assist with badge printing where required. Upon completion of the installation, the Engineer will hand over the completed work to the assigned site manager or point of contact and provide the necessary operational knowledge or training. The Engineer will document the work completed at each site and record any installation-related issues, including faulty, missing, or incomplete hardware requiring remediation. Where necessary, the Engineer may be required to revisit the site to rectify unsuccessful or incomplete installation activities. The Engineer must hold a valid driving licence and be able to drive as required for the delivery, transportation, or deployment of equipment between designated locations. All activities must be completed in accordance with the applicable work standards and site requirements.

Job Description

We are looking for a hands-on Network / IT Engineer to support on-site hardware deployment activities across designated sites. While the role does not require advanced networking configuration or network engineering, we are specifically seeking engineers with a network engineering background and strong practical installation experience who are comfortable working with IT hardware, mounting equipment, peripherals, cabling, device connectivity, testing, and site handover.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
