Senior Test Engineer
We are looking for an experienced Senior Test Engineer with strong expertise in telecom and network infrastructure testing to own test design, execution, defect management, and technical test leadership across complex enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Own test design and execution across assigned enterprise testing workstreams.
- Review Requirements, HLDs, LLDs, and project documentation to identify test scenarios and coverage gaps.
- Create and peer-review test scripts, test cases, and execution evidence.
- Lead defect triage, root-cause analysis, and retesting.
- Validate SIT, Functional, Non-Functional, Disaster Recovery, and OAT coverage.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to Test Engineers.
- Maintain ALM discipline covering test cases, requirements traceability, defects, and reporting.
- Lead testing across Routers, Switches, Firewalls, Hosting, Data Centre, LAN/WiFi, SD-WAN, UC, Telephony, Mobility, MPN/Cloud, IoT, Fixed Connectivity, Cloud & Security.
- Set up and validate complex test environments and network test equipment.
- Perform RFC 2544 performance testing where required.
- Support Test Managers with status reporting, risk identification, defect trends, and milestone readiness.
- Participate in HLD/LLD technical design reviews and ensure testability is considered.
- Work directly with stakeholders and customers during test working groups and defect triage.
- Drive test asset reuse, automation opportunities, and AI-assisted test design.
- Support onboarding, knowledge transfer, and team continuity.
- Ensure compliance with security, data handling, and audit requirements.

Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant testing experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in Telecom / Network Infrastructure Testing.
- Proven experience owning test design for complex infrastructure or service transition programmes.
- Strong knowledge of QA and testing methodologies.
- Excellent defect management, test evidence, and root-cause analysis skills.
- Strong ALM experience.
- Excellent stakeholder management and customer-facing communication skills.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Office, Teams, and SharePoint.

Desirable
- Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) experience.
- Test Automation and AI-assisted testing experience.
- Experience mentoring or technically leading test teams.
- ITIL experience.
- Experience across 3+ testing domains.
- Experience with RFC 2544 and StableNet.
Certifications
- ISTQB Foundation – Expected
- ITIL – Desirable
- CCNA / CCNP – Desirable
- Relevant Cloud Certifications – Desirable
