About The Role

HPE Aruba Networking is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Sales Engineer to join our team supporting UK customers across London, Manchester, Bristol, and Winnersh. This hybrid role combines technical expertise with strategic sales support, requiring two days per week in the office and the remainder working remotely. The Senior Sales Engineer will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by leading technical evaluations, conducting workshops, and delivering compelling demonstrations of our networking solutions. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with account teams and engage with senior stakeholders to understand their business needs and translate them into tailored networking solutions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of networking technology, helping clients optimize their infrastructure and achieve their digital transformation goals.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess a strong technical background with proven experience in networking solutions, including Wi-Fi, data center networking, security, and SD-WAN.
  • A relevant bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Industry certifications such as Cisco CCNP, CCIE, or Aruba Certified Network Expert (ACNE) are highly desirable.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Prior experience in a sales engineering or technical consulting role within the networking industry is essential.
  • A proactive attitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are critical for success in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the sales team by providing technical expertise throughout the sales cycle.
  • Leading technical assessments and evaluations to determine client needs.
  • Designing and proposing tailored networking solutions.
  • Conducting product demonstrations and workshops to showcase capabilities.
  • Engaging with senior stakeholders to understand their strategic objectives and aligning technical solutions accordingly.
  • Creating detailed proposals, responding to RFPs, and providing technical guidance during implementation phases.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies to effectively position HPE Aruba Networking solutions against competitors.
  • Collaborating with product and engineering teams to relay customer feedback and contribute to product development initiatives.
