Role Description
The Neurodiversity Coach will provide one-to-one and small group coaching to neurodivergent children, adolescents, and adults in the London Area, United Kingdom. This on-site and virtual role involves assessing individual needs, setting practical goals, and developing tailored strategies to support daily functioning, education, work, and relationships.
The coach will collaborate with clinicians, families, schools, and employers to promote understanding and inclusion, and may contribute to workshops or psychoeducational sessions. Day-to-day tasks include maintaining accurate records, monitoring progress, adjusting coaching plans, and participating in team meetings and case discussions. The role also includes contributing to service development and upholding safeguarding and ethical practice standards.

Qualifications
- Demonstrated knowledge of neurodiversity, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and related profiles, and ability to apply strengths-based approaches in practice.
- Experience delivering coaching, mentoring, or psychoeducation to neurodivergent individuals or families, ideally in clinical, educational, or community settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust, adapt to different communication styles, and manage sensitive conversations.
- Solid organizational and time-management skills for handling a caseload, documenting sessions, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Relevant qualification in psychology, coaching, education, occupational therapy, social work, or a related field; coaching or neurodiversity-focused certifications are an advantage.
- Understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality, and ethical standards in mental health and community care within the UK context.
- Ability to work on-site in the London Area, collaborate effectively with colleagues, and contribute to a supportive and inclusive team culture.
- Prior experience in child, adolescent, or family mental health services is highly beneficial.
What we are looking for
- A recognised coaching qualification (for example ICF, EMCC or AC accredited training)
- Accreditation with a recognised coaching body
- At least 1 to 2 years' experience coaching neurodivergent clients
- Experience working with high profile clients, with absolute discretion and confidentiality
- Sound knowledge of ADHD, autism and related traits, including co-occurring conditions
- A genuine commitment to neuro-affirming practice
- Excellent listening, communication and rapport-building skills
- The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- The ability to manage a caseload responsibly and maintain professional boundaries
- An enhanced DBS check, or willingness to obtain one

Lived experience of neurodivergence is welcomed. Experience with children and families, or additional training in areas such as ADHD coaching or executive function, is an advantage.
