Neutron Star Challenge
Neutron stars are unbelievably dense, thus a single teaspoon of neutron star material would weigh a billion tonnes on Earth. We need razor-sharp builders. Don’t be a neutron star.

About the Role
The Senior Software Engineer will work for a hypergrowth SaaS scaleup.
Key Responsibilities

Earning and Working Conditions:
- Earn £150,000 plus equity.
- Enjoy hybrid working in London.

- Engineer first, SRE second.

Experience and Skills:
- Have a decade of engineering experience.
- Work closely with the Head of Engineering on technical strategy and architecture decisions.
- Have agentic workflow design skills.
- Mentor a small team of accomplished engineers.
- Live and breathe startup culture.
- Be highly analytical and numerate.
- Have a stellar academic track record.
- Be responsible for building and maintaining highly secure, performant, and scalable systems.
- Nurture and oversee the building of reliable data pipelines by our Data Engineering team.
- Get close to the product.

- Technical Requirements:
- Implement microservices magic, all hosted on the Cloud (GCP preferred).

- Orchestrate multi-step agentic workflows to complete tasks autonomously.
- Need the 3 Ns: Node.js, Next.js, and NestJS. No joke.
- Be familiar with NoSQL databases.
- Have the vision to architect, design, and build scalable systems across the full stack.
- Work extensively with Claude Code.
