Role Description
This is a full-time, remote role for a New Build Mortgage Advisor. The advisor will guide prospective purchasers through the mortgage process, from initial qualification and affordability assessments to recommending suitable products and supporting applications through to completion.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Managing incoming leads from housebuilder and developer partners
- Conducting detailed fact-finds
- Providing clear, compliant mortgage and protection advice
- Maintaining accurate records in relevant systems
The advisor will liaise closely with site sales teams, provide regular updates on case progression, and contribute to sales meetings, launches, and promotional activities as required. The role also involves staying up to date with lender criteria, market developments, and regulatory requirements to ensure customers receive appropriate, timely, and solution-focused advice.

Qualifications

- Strong mortgage advisory skills, including experience with residential lending, affordability assessment, and product recommendation, ideally within the new build or housing sector.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work closely with housebuilder site teams and a wide range of purchasers.
- Solid organisational and time-management skills, including managing multiple cases, meeting deadlines, and maintaining accurate documentation and reporting.
- Comfort with remote working, including proficiency with digital tools, CRM systems, and online communication platforms.
- CeMAP or an equivalent regulated mortgage qualification and a good understanding of FCA regulations and compliance standards.
- Proactive, solution-focused mindset, with the ability to support complex or challenging cases and maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity.
- Previous experience within a mortgage network or brokerage, and familiarity with new build incentives, schemes, and lender policies, is highly beneficial.
