An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Paralegal or Legal Executive to join a well-established and highly regarded Top 200 law firm within their Land Development & New Homes team in Newark.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in conveyancing and/or infrastructure-related work who is looking to develop their career within a specialist department. Working alongside experienced Partners and Fee Earners, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality legal support while building strong client relationships and contributing to the continued growth of the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide an exceptional ongoing service to existing clients
  • Work closely with Partners and Fee Earners to develop new business opportunities
  • Support the continued growth of the Land Development & New Homes department, maximising cross-referrals across the firm
  • Manage fee-earning work in line with agreed targets and objectives
  • Keep up to date with changes in relevant legislation and legal practice
  • Maintain and develop legal knowledge and technical expertise
  • Assist with financial management, including billing procedures and collection of monies on account
  • Record time accurately on client and internal matters
  • Carry out fee-earning work accurately and in accordance with the firm's quality and risk management procedures

About You:

Are you an experienced Paralegal or Legal Executive with a background in new build or land development who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and delivering an exceptional service to clients?

You will have:

  • Previous experience as a Paralegal or Legal Executive (essential)
  • Previous experience within New Build
  • Experience within conveyancing, land development or infrastructure-related matters
  • A strong understanding of conveyancing procedures, including part exchanges
  • Good knowledge of land law, Section Agreements and infrastructure transactions
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A proactive, professional and client-focused approach with a high level of integrity
  • A positive, flexible attitude and a genuine passion for delivering high-quality legal services
