New Business Account Executive
Location: Kent
Salary: Highly Competitive and flexible – c £50,000 - £75,000 DOE
Barker Munro Recruitment is delighted to be working with a highly respected, leading insurance broker who is continuing to expand their commercial division. As part of their growth strategy, they are seeking ambitious and driven New Business Account Executives to join their successful team.
About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident insurance professional who thrives on winning new business and building strong client relationships. You’ll be responsible for identifying opportunities, developing new commercial accounts, and delivering tailored insurance solutions that meet a wide range of client needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively generate and convert new business opportunities within the commercial insurance market
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and present suitable insurance solutions
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless client experience
- Represent the broker professionally in meetings, networking events, and presentations

About You
Our client is looking for someone who is already excelling in a New Business or Account Executive role within commercial insurance.
You’ll bring:
- A proven track record of developing and securing new commercial accounts
- Strong technical knowledge across a range of commercial insurance products
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- A proactive, ambitious mindset with a passion for growth and success
