About this role
In this remote position, as New Business Account Executive at Fuse, you will take full ownership of a defined mid-market territory, driving new logo acquisition and accelerating our expansion across core verticals including manufacturing, retail, professional services, and healthcare.
This role requires an established B2B SaaS sales professional with direct expertise in the Learning Technology, EdTech, or HRTech sector. You will bring immediate sector credibility and deep familiarity with corporate learning ecosystems, enabling you to lead consultative, value-based sales cycles using frameworks like MEDDPICC. You will engage seamlessly with senior stakeholders - including Chief Learning Officers, HR Directors, and Operations leaders - uncovering core operational challenges and aligning Fuse’s innovative solutions to tangible outcomes.

Your Responsibilities
- Quota Ownership: Own and consistently exceed an annual ARR quota (£450k–£600k), closing average contract value (ACV) deals ranging from £45k to £150k.
- End-to-End Sales Management: Lead the complete consultative sales cycle from targeted prospecting and discovery through to solution design, commercial negotiation, and closing.
- Domain & Stakeholder Engagement: Drive multi-threaded sales cycles engaging CPO, CLO, L&D, Operations, HR, and Procurement decision-makers with sector-specific credibility.
- Value-Based Solution Selling: Craft compelling, story-driven solution demos and ROI business cases tailored to strategic client priorities, collaborating with Sales Engineers and leadership.
- Pipeline Generation: Convert inbound leads efficiently while proactively driving outbound pipeline growth across your assigned territory.
- CRM & Operational Excellence: Maintain accurate CRM hygiene, sales forecasting, and deal stage progression in HubSpot.
- Market & Industry Insights: Stay ahead of learning technology trends, corporate L&D shifts, and competitor developments to maintain a strong consultative edge.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to optimise deal velocity and ensure seamless customer onboarding.

Essential
- Industry Domain Expertise: Direct, hands-on experience selling Learning Management Systems (LMS), Learning Experience Platforms (LXP), EdTech, or HRTech enterprise SaaS solutions.
- Target Buyer Track Record: Proven success building trust and closing deals with HR, Talent, L&D, and C-level learning stakeholders.
- Sales Experience & Achievement: 2-4+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, including a minimum of 1–2 years in a direct quota-carrying Account Executive role with documented target achievement.
- Consultative Value Selling: Expertise in discovery, business case creation, and ROI-focused sales engagements using methodologies like MEDDPICC, SPIN, or Value Selling.
- Pipeline & Deal Management: Ability to systematically manage 20–30 active opportunities across various deal stages while maintaining rigorous pipeline hygiene.
- Communication & Inclusion: Strong, empathetic communication and presentation skills, with an ability to build authentic relationships across diverse internal and external teams.
Desirable
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth tech scale-up environment.
- Proficiency with modern sales enablement toolstacks (HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Gong, etc.).
