New Business Account Manager
Monday – Friday: 9am – 5.30pm
Crown Business Finance, established in 2019, is one of the most exciting, fresh finance companies in the market enabling companies from all sectors and sizes to fulfil their growth aspirations. We provide Asset Finance, Loans, and various other finance products to UK businesses and, for doing so, we get a commission from the lenders on our panel.
At Crown, we do things differently, with the customer at the forefront of our focus by providing tailored, affordable finance products. With access to over 85 lenders, our focused approach means we are far quicker than banks and other institutions.
The Successful Applicant
- Good communication skills, both oral and written
- Self-motivation, ‘can do’ attitude, and a professional manner
- Determination and drive to work to and exceed targets
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Good business acumen
- Excellent attention to detail
- Sales experience is essential
- Literacy, numeracy, and IT skills (minimum to GCSE level)
- Driving licence and own vehicle are ideal
The Role
- High volume cold calling potential customers to prospect for new business (100 calls and 2 hours talk time as a minimum at the start to generate that pipeline). If you are not comfortable making high volumes of cold calls every day, please DO NOT apply.
- Use other means of communication to generate leads (Email, LinkedIn, Social Media)
- Creating detailed and accurate proposal documents
- Reviewing your own performance, hitting as a minimum but ideally exceeding targets
- Remaining compliant at all times
- Responding to incoming email and phone enquiries
- Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers and introducers
- Gaining a clear understanding of customers’ businesses and requirements
- Consistently improve knowledge of the finance products we offer
- Representing the company at trade exhibitions

An Overview of the Sales Process (Summarised)
Step 1: Generate and qualify a lead from either a cold call, email, or social media.
Step 2: Collect the required documents from the business that requires the finance (bank statements, accounts, equipment details, requested terms).
Step 3: Write up a finance proposal which will then be sent to a lender on our panel.
Step 4: Finance is approved by one of our lenders, then provide the terms to the customer in a compliant format.

Step 5: Close the deal with the customer and sign paperwork. Deal goes live and we receive our commission.
Step 6: Repeat.
