New Business Account Manager (Alternative & Unregulated Investments / Private Assets)

Location: London (Full Time Office Based, Monument)

Hours: Monday to Thursday 10:00 – 19:00 & Friday 10:00 – 17:00

Salary: Up to £25,000 Basic / £50,000+ OTE Uncapped

About Us:

Hackstons is a London based luxury asset firm specialising in fine wine, rare whisky and alternative investments. We support private clients in building long-term wealth through premium asset ownership, backed by education, secure storage and a curated retail experience.

The Role

As a new business account manager, you will be the first point of contact for prospective clients and investors who have registered an interest in cask whisky investments. This role is perfect for ambitious and determined individuals who want to build a serious career in sales/alternative investments and earn well by delivering results.

You don’t need experience in whisky or investments, we will teach you that. What you do need is the drive to learn, the confidence to speak with people, and the determination to improve every day.

You will be part of a brand new team with a sole focus to onboard new clients to the business. At present the company has senior account managers who are acting in a 360 capacity with our clients, managing existing client portfolios whilst still onboarding new clients. We are separating those sections of the business allowing senior account managers to focus on existing client portfolios and bringing in a brand new team solely responsible for new business clients.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
