New Business Development Manager/Executive – Bulk Bags (FIBCs), LDPE Bags, Groundcovers & Geotextiles

Job Type: Full-time – 39 Hours
Salary: Competitive Salary + Company Car, Laptop & Mobile for business use
Start Date: Immediate; however, a start date can be discussed for the right candidate

To continue with our growth, we have an exciting opportunity in the Sales Department. We are looking for two experienced Sales Professionals specialising in Bulk Bags (FIBCs), LDPE Bags, Groundcovers and Geotextiles to join our team.

This is a crucial role responsible for developing new business, building new revenue streams and driving sales through excellent customer service and strong product knowledge. You will work closely with internal teams and support functions to deliver excellent results and help grow the customer base.

  • Should be able to Create own customer portfolio / generate leads and develop new sales /revenue streams for the company
  • Should possess good product knowledge
  • Should have valid UK driving license as minimum 2 days per week travelling within the UK is required
  • Takes ownership of the sales-process to meet requirements of the customers
  • Should have product knowledge and commercial acumen to customer questions, resolving concerns and disputes
  • Experience of creating, managing and reporting monthly/quarterly and yearly sales-budgets.
  • Supporting the development and implementation of new sales initiatives, sales campaigns, strategies and programmes.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience of selling relevant products.
  • A self-motivated and driven approach, with a proactive attitude towards sales prospecting and lead generation.
  • Minimum A-Level academic qualification
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools. Knowledge of Sage 50 would be an added advantage.

There is also the opportunity for career progression into a Key Account Manager / Business Development Manager (BDM) role, based on performance.

Location

Ideally based in Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire, but open to hybrid working for suitable candidates.
