Business Development Executive – Healthcare / Medical Devices
Are you confident picking up the phone, opening doors and turning conversations into commercial opportunities?
We’re recruiting for a Business Development Executive to join our client, an innovative medical device company designing products that help people live more safely, comfortably, and independently.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong B2B sales, telesales, recruitment, or business development background who wants to take their commercial skills into the healthcare sector. This role can be Office or Home based and is a "Hunter" type role. Also some flexibility on Part time or Full Time if required.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities across care homes, hospices, and other care providers. Your day-to-day will include:
- Researching and identifying prospective customers
- Making outbound calls and introducing our client’s products and services
- Building relationships with key decision-makers
- Qualifying customer needs and developing opportunities
- Booking product demonstrations and trials
- Managing leads and activity through the CRM
- Following opportunities from initial contact through to sale
- Working closely with Product Specialists and the Account Management team

What We’re Looking For
You don’t necessarily need medical device experience.
We’re interested in people who can demonstrate:
- B2B sales or new business development experience
- Confidence making outbound calls and approaching new customers
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Commercial awareness and the ability to spot opportunities
- Resilience, drive, and self-motivation
- Good organization and CRM discipline
- A track record of working towards targets and KPIs
