Company Description

11VC is a global platform focused on the AI infrastructure economy, creating conferences, exhibitions, and market intelligence that connect investors, founders, and enterprises. The organisation is dedicated to advancing AI deployment across the physical world, with a particular emphasis on Physical AI applications. Its flagship event, the Physical AI Expo, will launch in London in 2027 as the first dedicated platform for humanoid robotics, autonomous systems, and embodied intelligence at industrial scale. The event is expected to host over 6,000 senior delegates and feature more than 40 live robot demonstrations. 11VC offers an environment where professionals can help shape a category-defining moment for Physical AI.

Role Description

The New Business Development Manager will drive revenue growth by identifying, qualifying, and closing new commercial opportunities across sponsors, exhibitors, and strategic partners. This full-time hybrid role is based in Greater London, with a mix of office-based collaboration and some work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Conducting discovery calls

The role will involve:

  • Nurturing key accounts
  • Building long-term relationships
  • Coordinating with marketing and operations teams to ensure successful event participation and partner satisfaction

The New Business Development Manager will also contribute to go-to-market strategies, provide market feedback, and help refine value propositions for 11VC’s events and intelligence products.

Qualifications

  • Strong new business development and lead generation skills, with a track record of opening and growing new revenue streams.
  • Proficiency in sales presentations and consultative sales, including the ability to communicate complex propositions clearly to senior stakeholders.
  • Experience in account management and relationship building, ensuring retention, upsell, and long-term partnership growth.
  • Solid sales skills, including pipeline management, forecasting, negotiation, and closing deals in a B2B environment.
  • Background in events, technology, AI, or related sectors is highly beneficial.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including confidence in engaging C-level and senior decision-makers.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple opportunities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
