Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site New Business Development/Sales role based in Nottinghamshire. The role involves:

  • Identifying and qualifying new business opportunities
  • Building and maintaining relationships with prospective and existing clients
  • Promoting Sherwood Universal’s print and print finishing services

Day-to-day tasks include:

  • Researching target markets
  • Preparing and delivering sales presentations
  • Creating proposals and quotations
  • Negotiating pricing and contracts

The individual will:

  • Manage the sales pipeline
  • Follow up on leads
  • Work closely with internal production and customer service teams to ensure projects are delivered to client specifications
  • Regularly report on sales performance
  • Contribute to business planning and growth initiatives

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated skills in New Business Development and Business Development, with a track record of generating and converting leads into sustainable revenue.
  • Experience in Sales and Account Management, including managing client relationships, handling inquiries, and supporting repeat business.
  • Competence in Business Planning, including forecasting, pipeline management, and contributing to sales strategies and targets.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present solutions clearly and build rapport across diverse client stakeholders.
  • Experience in the print, print finishing, or related manufacturing/production industry is highly beneficial.
  • Ability to work on-site in Nottinghamshire, organize time effectively, and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and basic office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentations) to support sales activity.
  • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites as required.
  • Prior experience in B2B sales and working with Blue Chip or large corporate clients is an advantage.
