Business Director – Private Hospitals & Healthcare Networks
My client is hiring a Business Director to accelerate the growth of the Group’s Customer Communications Management (CCM) and Digital Transformation solutions within private hospitals and healthcare networks.
The successful candidate will blend strong commercial acumen with a consultative, problem-solving approach, helping hospitals transform how they communicate with patients through automation, workflow optimization, systems integration, and enhanced patient experience.
This role requires someone who can confidently engage senior clinical, operational, and technology stakeholders, shape compelling solution strategies, and collaborate closely with technical and delivery teams to bring opportunities from discovery to successful close.
Requirements
- Identify, engage, and secure new private hospital groups and healthcare networks with no existing relationship with the organization.
- Deliver against a first-year new-business quota through disciplined territory planning and full accountability for pipeline development and conversion.
- Establish and maintain a pipeline capable of achieving and exceeding revenue objectives; proactive pipeline generation is a core responsibility.
- Lead the complete sales cycle from initial outreach to contract negotiation and closure, applying structured qualification methodologies such as MEDDIC or MEDDPICC.
- Build strategic relationships with senior clinical, operational, and executive stakeholders within newly acquired accounts.
- Drive cross-sell and upsell initiatives within accounts once initial engagements have been successfully established.
- Engage hospital stakeholders to assess patient communication, operational, and digital transformation requirements.
- Collaborate with technical, product, and delivery teams to design innovative, value-driven solutions aligned to client objectives.
- Present solution recommendations, business cases, and formal proposals to senior decision-makers, including C-suite and clinical leadership.
- Serve as a trusted advisor, ensuring alignment between patient experience priorities and technology-enabled solutions.
- Monitor developments in CCM, patient experience, AI, workflow automation, and digital transformation to inform commercial strategy.
- Provide market and client insights to support solution evolution and influence product roadmap direction.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
