Skelmersdale (WN8 9TG) - Full-Time, Office-Based
£30,000–£35,000 + Uncapped Commission
Realistic OTE of £50-60k+

The Role

We are looking for a driven and strategic Business Development Manager who thrives in a pure hunter role. This position focuses solely on acquiring new clients and expanding our presence across targeted industries and regions. There are no renewals, no account management, and no upselling to existing clients - your mission is to open new doors, win new business, and grow our market share.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, target, and pursue new business opportunities across key sectors.
  • Develop and execute winning sales strategies to secure new contracts.
  • Generate high-quality leads through outbound prospecting, networking, events, and referrals.
  • Manage the sales pipeline using CRM tools, ensuring accurate activity tracking.

What You’ll Bring

  • 2+ years in a dedicated new business sales or business development role.
  • A proven record of acquiring new clients and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Exceptional networking, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Self-motivation, resilience, and a results-driven mindset.
  • Familiarity with modern CRM platforms.
  • Experience of selling to Facilities Management (desirable)
