Role Description

The New Business Manager is a full-time hybrid role in the HadleyFrame business unit, based in Birmingham, with flexibility for some work from home. This role is responsible for identifying, qualifying, and securing new business opportunities across target markets, aligning with HadleyFrame’s strategic growth objectives. The New Business Manager will collaborate closely with internal teams to develop solutions, negotiate commercial terms, and ensure a smooth handover of new accounts into ongoing relationship management. The role also involves ongoing business planning, forecasting, and performance reporting to drive sustainable revenue growth while maintaining a customer-focused, ethical approach.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong New Business Development and Account Management skills to identify prospects, build relationships, and convert opportunities into long-term partnerships.
  • Candidates should possess solid Business Management and Business Planning skills to structure deals, forecast revenue, and contribute to strategic growth initiatives.
  • Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills to interpret market data, assess commercial viability, and support evidence-based decision-making.
  • Candidates should possess effective communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in manufacturing, engineering, construction, or related sectors is highly beneficial, particularly within B2B environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a hybrid setting, manage time independently, and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, sales reporting tools, and standard office software (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • A relevant degree or equivalent experience in business, engineering, or a related field is preferred but solid experience is also considered.
