Our client is a highly successful and rapidly growing UK retail business with an established nationwide presence and an exciting e-commerce operation.
As their Marketplace continues to expand, they are looking for a New Business Onboarding Executive to join their team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the beginning of their career who is passionate about e-commerce, online marketplaces and delivering an exceptional seller experience.
You'll play a key role in bringing new sellers onto the Marketplace, supporting them through the onboarding journey and helping them establish a strong foundation for long-term success.
Working closely with the New Business Lead, Seller Account Management team and wider internal departments, you'll become an important point of contact for new sellers, guiding them through systems, product listings, compliance, processes and marketplace best practice.
What You'll Be Doing
- Guide new sellers through the Marketplace onboarding process, including systems, tools, policies and operational requirements.
- Work alongside the New Business Lead to conduct seller vetting and in-house compliance checks.
- Ensure new sellers meet relevant legal, regulatory and company requirements throughout the onboarding process.
- Help identify, prioritise and progress high-value new seller opportunities in line with wider business objectives.
- Provide dedicated support to sellers throughout their sign-up and introductory period.
- Assist sellers with product listings, optimisation and ensuring logistical requirements are successfully met.
- Troubleshoot and resolve seller queries relating to account setup, product listings, operational processes and Marketplace integration.
- Work collaboratively with internal technical and operational teams to resolve and escalate issues where required.
- Support new sellers throughout their first 4-6 months, monitoring progress and KPIs and helping them build towards long-term success.
- Work with external partners to support accurate and timely product onboarding.
- Deliver training and onboarding sessions to new sellers, ensuring they understand the systems and processes required to operate successfully.
- Manage seller enquiries through Zendesk, providing timely, professional and customer-focused communication.
- Work closely with Seller Account Management, Finance, Marketing, Compliance and other teams to resolve issues and improve the overall seller and customer experience.
- Produce and analyse regular reports to monitor performance and support decision-making.
- Support the successful handover of sellers from the onboarding phase to the wider Seller Account Management team, ensuring key information and performance indicators are clearly communicated.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
