The Role
Step into the role of New Business Operations & Project Manager.
Discover an exciting opportunity to take on an integral role here at Joules Head Office working within our brilliant Partnerships team.
Working Pattern: This is a full time role based at 'The Barn', Joules' purpose built Head Office in Market Harborough, Leicestershire. The typical hours for this role are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday and this is an onsite role.
Our Location
Market Harborough in Leicestershire is where Joules began in 1989. This market town is home to the brand's Head Office and is full of independent shops, bars and restaurants. It also benefits from good transport links to London, making it easily accessible for visitors and commuters alike. It is the perfect place to mix a rewarding career with a bit of well-dressed time off.
What You'll Do

Build an understanding of 3rd party business and the different models and ways of working to enable alignment where relevant.

Become an expert in the E2E onboarding processes for each model; able to develop an understanding of new ways of working eg. SFTP or EDI

Grow relationships with internal teams at Next and Joules (for example Finance, Ecom, Warehouse, Ops) to help establish business needs and requirements and influence progression of new business projects eg. Label+, Direct Dispatch, 2 man delivery and Dropship.

Improve operations and processes across the department for commercial gain; being able to spot growth opportunities and present innovative solutions.

Create new processes, workflows and blueprints for new ways of working in order to repeat roll-out.

Support flow of stock in and out of the business for License partners, Brands, International partners and Franchise partners; ensuring partners are aware of warehouse compliance, labelling, packaging etc

Have a complete understanding of product operations, warehouse compliance, fulfilment & shipping.

Assist Licensing Account Managers where required with onboarding of new Licensees, with a focus on operational, financial & compliance set-up.

Project Manage the critical path and territory roll-out pipeline for New Business projects including International.

Coordinate internal teams, including Buying, Merchandising, Merch Ops, Wholesale, Licensing, Compliance & Packaging to ensure smooth roll-out of International projects.

Assist Shows team with stock required for offsite events.
What You'll Bring
To excel within the role of New Business Operations & Project Manager, you must be able to work flexibly, at pace and be confident in multi-tasking, as our projects are varied and constantly moving. Experience within a similar Operational or Project Management role would be ideal. Experience of creating workflows and setting-up processes would be advantageous.
Awareness or experience of working with a Retail environment, a Warehouse environment or a Wholesale or Fashion business would be advantageous.
From a technical and operational perspective, it would also be advantageous if you have:
- Experience in a similar role working with multiple stakeholders internally and externally.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Working knowledge of Google Suite: Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides would be desirable.
- Attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
