New Business Project Manager | Defence | Stevenage | £40,000–£64,000
A leading defence organisation is looking for a New Business Project Manager to support the continued growth of a major missile systems portfolio.
This is a great opportunity for a Project Manager who enjoys working at the front end of programmes, coordinating complex bids and helping turn major customer opportunities into deliverable contracts.
The role:
- Coordinate bids across UK and international teams, bringing together engineering, operations, procurement, finance and commercial stakeholders.
- Take ownership of opportunities through the full bid lifecycle, coordinating costs, schedules, risks, assumptions and dependencies.
- Support successful bids through to contract mobilisation, while working closely with senior stakeholders across the business.
- Contribute to major domestic and export opportunities across a growing air defence portfolio.

We're looking for:
- Project Management, Bid Management or New Business experience within a complex environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills.
- Experience with bidding, estimating, commercial proposals or contract mobilisation.
- A commercially minded approach and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
- Defence, aerospace or another complex engineering environment would be beneficial.

Package:
- £40,000–£64,000 depending on experience
- Hybrid working, 2–3 days per week on-site
- Stevenage
- Company bonus up to £2,500
- Pension contributions up to 14%
