The Role
We’re looking for an ambitious Sales Executive to drive revenue growth across the South of the UK, identifying and securing new business opportunities within the independent garage sector.
In this field-based role, you’ll nurture relationships with existing and lapsed customers, helping to maximise long-term value across your territory. Working closely with our Commercial and Marketing teams, you’ll play a key part in building a strong sales pipeline, delivering proposals, and achieving clearly defined sales and margin targets. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive, results-driven sales professional who thrives on winning new business and building lasting customer partnerships.
40 hours per week - 8:30am - 5:00pm
- Monday to Friday, no weekend working
- Remote, based from your home address
The Core Tasks and Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities within the independent garage sector on a regional and national basis
- Grow market share by working collaboratively with existing network partners and targeting non-aligned garages
- Generate and maintain a strong sales pipeline through effective warm and cold calling activity
- Achieve and exceed agreed sales, revenue, and margin targets
- Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with new, existing, and lapsed customers
- Understand customer requirements and present tailored service solutions
- Support customers throughout the sales process to ensure a smooth transition to contract completion
- Produce high-quality written proposals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the CRM system
- Produce monthly sales reports, including quote activity, pipeline status, and margin forecasts
- Act as a positive ambassador for Slicker Recycling, promoting the brand and values at all times
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to support business growth and customer satisfaction

What We Are Looking For
Essential Skills and Experience
- Proven experience working in a target-driven sales environment (minimum 1 year)
- Experience of using a CRM system
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to build relationships via telephone and face-to-face meetings
- Highly organised with the ability to work autonomously
- Strong work ethic with a professional, confident, and approachable manner
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Experience selling services within the automotive or independent garage sector
- Experience of producing formal written sales proposals
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English at Level 4 or above, or demonstrable equivalent experience
