New Business Sales Executive
West Yorkshire - Leeds/Bradford
Salary - circa £35,000 + £50,000+ OTE
Monday - Friday - 8.30am - 4.30pm
Are you an experienced salesperson who thrives on winning new business?
We’re working with a growing business based in-between Leeds and Bradford that is looking to add a number of ambitious and commercially driven New Business Sales Executives to its expanding team.
This is a genuine new business sales role, where you’ll be responsible for identifying opportunities, speaking with prospective customers, building relationships and taking prospects through the full sales process through to conversion.
We’re open to candidates from a variety of sales backgrounds, but proven sales experience is essential, ideally around 3 years or more in a target-driven environment.
If you’re confident on the phone, motivated by targets and enjoy the challenge of converting opportunities into customers, this could be an excellent opportunity to join a growing business with strong earning potential.
The Role
You’ll take ownership of your own pipeline and be responsible for generating and converting new business.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Making daily outbound calls to prospective new customers using warm and cold leads.
- Identifying new business opportunities and developing relationships with prospective customers.
- Arranging and booking appointments with new customers.
- Preparing and sending quotes through the online portal.
- Following up on quotes and converting opportunities into new business.
- Setting new customers up on the company’s portal system.
- Managing and progressing leads efficiently through the sales process.
- Reviewing customer information to understand requirements and identify further opportunities.
- Maintaining accurate records of calls, quotes and sales activity.
- Working towards agreed KPIs and revenue targets.
- Attending regular sales meetings and providing updates on activity and performance.
- Taking ownership of opportunities from initial contact through to successful close.
About You
We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys sales and is comfortable picking up the phone, creating conversations and winning business.

You’ll ideally have:
- 3+ years’ sales experience, preferably within a new business or B2B environment.
- A proven track record of generating and converting new business.
- Confidence making a high volume of outbound calls.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- A resilient, proactive and commercially driven approach.
- Experience working towards KPIs and revenue targets.
- Strong follow-up and pipeline management skills.
- Good organisation and attention to detail.
- Confidence using CRM systems, Excel and online platforms.
- The ambition and determination to achieve and exceed targets.
The industry background is less important than your sales ability, attitude and desire to succeed.
