At Ideagen, we're passionate about helping organisations manage risk, strengthen compliance, and improve operational excellence. As we continue to grow within our Compliance business, we're looking for a driven and commercially minded New Business Sales Manager to join our team and play a key role in expanding our customer base.
This is a true new business sales role, focused on identifying, developing, and closing opportunities across Ideagen's Compliance portfolio. You'll work with innovative software solutions that help organisations manage compliance, governance, risk, and operational challenges, delivering measurable value to customers across a range of industries.
You'll own the entire sales cycle, from generating your own pipeline through to contract signature, while building trusted relationships with key stakeholders and helping organisations solve complex business challenges. This role offers significant autonomy and is ideal for a proactive salesperson who thrives in a remote environment and enjoys creating opportunities through their own efforts.

- Manage inbound enquiries effectively, converting interest into qualified opportunities and new revenue.
- Own the full sales cycle from initial engagement and discovery through to proposal, negotiation, and contract signature.
- Conduct consultative discovery conversations to understand customer challenges, business objectives, and compliance requirements.

- Lead commercial discussions, procurement processes, and contract negotiations to successfully close opportunities.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline activity, and forecasting to ensure visibility and predictability of performance.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, pre-sales, customer success, and product teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
- Share market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitive insights to support product development and business growth.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
