We're looking for an ambitious and commercially driven New Business Sales Manager to join our high-performing sales team at Zellis.
This is an exciting opportunity for a proven new business hunter who thrives on building relationships, creating opportunities, and winning complex enterprise sales. You'll be responsible for driving new-logo acquisition, developing strategic sales opportunities, and helping organizations transform their HR, payroll, and workforce management capabilities through Zellis' market-leading solutions.
Working alongside a team of experienced sales professionals and reporting to the Director of New Business, you'll take ownership of your territory, drive pipeline growth, and deliver revenue through a proactive and consultative sales approach.
What you'll be doing
In this role, you will:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to win net-new logo customers across mid-market and enterprise organizations.
- Generate new business opportunities through targeted prospecting, networking, social selling, and account-based outreach.
- Build, manage, and progress a healthy sales pipeline, maintaining strong forecasting discipline and deal control.
- Own the full sales cycle from opportunity creation through to contract signature.
- Engage and influence senior stakeholders, including C-suite decision-makers, by understanding their business challenges and strategic objectives.
- Lead complex sales opportunities by coordinating internal teams across Pre-Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Bid Management, and Sales Support.
- Apply consultative and value-based selling techniques to position Zellis as the partner of choice for HR and payroll transformation.
- Deliver against pipeline, revenue, and customer acquisition targets within your assigned territory.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
