SALARY: Starting from £26,186 per annum

LOCATION: Delaware Drive, Tongwell, Milton Keynes

HYBRID WORKING: Our current hybrid working policy requires a minimum of 60% of working time to be based in the Milton Keynes office, however, flexibility is expected to meet the needs of the business and the role.

HOURS / CONTRACT TYPE: Full Time Permanent - 35 hours per week

About the Role

We’re looking for a New Business Senior Advisor to be responsible for supporting colleagues with operational delivery requirements and service levels. You will also support in complex process resolution from proposal documents submitted by VWG Dealers/Retailers.

This role will be instrumental in delivering high service levels to our retail partners, through the successful processing of over 500,000 contracts per annum.

What you’ll be doing

  • Provide support and guidance with the training and induction of new advisors including supporting the delivery of training and initial embedding of skills for these new starters.
  • Be proficient in multiple systems in order to achieve right customer outcomes.
  • Working to agreed service levels, quality targets, and operational metrics as determined by the department relating to all aspects of New Business provision and Customer experience.
  • Understand and adhere to all regulatory and compliance-based requirements.
  • Add value on every interaction and ensure that retailers are armed with the right level of appropriate information to support the creation of a strong and trusted relationship between VWFS and the Customer.
  • Coach and develop team members by providing regular feedback, identifying development opportunities, supporting skill enhancement, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and high performance.
  • Take full ownership and use initiative to resolve Retailer queries within first contact resolution and deliver a personal service making VWFS feel easy to do business with.

What you’ll bring

You’ll have fantastic attention to detail with some experience in coaching/mentoring.

Essential Experience & Skills

  • Strong customer service focus
  • Ability to cope under pressure
  • Ability to be flexible with working hours as this role does require some evenings, weekends, and bank holidays - however, this is still within 35 hours per week
  • An understanding of the financial services/automotive industry is preferable.
