Role Description

The New Car Sales Executive is a full-time, on-site role based at the Sytner BMW Centre in Worcester. This position focuses on guiding customers through the complete new car sales process, from initial enquiry and test drive to final handover and follow-up.

  • Greeting and qualifying customers
  • Presenting vehicle features and benefits
  • Preparing competitive quotations
  • Managing finance and insurance options in line with regulatory requirements
  • Maintaining accurate customer records
  • Achieving agreed sales and customer satisfaction targets
  • Coordinating with colleagues in aftersales and administration to ensure a seamless ownership experience

The New Car Sales Executive is expected to represent the BMW brand professionally, maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the model range and promotions, and contribute to a positive, collaborative showroom environment.

Qualifications

  • Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets in a retail or customer-facing environment.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport, communicate clearly, and handle enquiries in a professional manner.
  • Solid product knowledge capabilities, with the ability and willingness to learn detailed vehicle features, technology, and finance options.
  • Good organizational and administrative skills, including accurate record keeping and effective use of CRM or dealership systems.
  • Comfort with digital tools and online sales processes, including email, video consultations, and digital documentation.
  • Full UK driving licence and the ability to conduct safe and informative test drives.
  • Previous experience in automotive sales or a similar premium retail environment is highly beneficial.
  • Professional, proactive work ethic with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, including flexibility to work weekends and busy periods.
