We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced New Car Sales Manager to join our team at Vertu Land Rover Taunton.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and commercially driven automotive Sales Manager to take the lead of our new car sales operation, working with an established team and representing one of the most prestigious brands in the motor industry.
We are offering a £40,000 basic salary with an OTE of £60,000, alongside a company car and a fantastic range of company benefits.
The Role
As New Car Sales Manager, you will take responsibility for leading, coaching and developing the new car sales team to deliver outstanding commercial results and an exceptional customer experience.
You will manage a structured and controlled sales process, remaining highly visible and hands-on with your team and supporting customer interactions through effective first and second facing.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Leading, motivating and developing the new car sales team
- Driving sales performance, profitability and operating efficiency
- Coaching colleagues to maximise their individual and team performance
- Supporting the sale of new vehicles alongside appropriate finance, insurance and additional products
- Ensuring consistently high standards of customer service throughout the sales journey
- Managing sales campaigns and promotions to maximise opportunities and sales penetration
- Monitoring performance against agreed objectives and taking action to drive results
- Creating a positive, accountable and high-performance sales environment

What We're Looking For
We are looking for a talented and experienced automotive Sales Manager with a proven track record of delivering strong results within the motor industry.
You'll Be Able To Demonstrate
- Proven experience within automotive sales management
- A strong track record of improving sales performance and profitability
- Excellent leadership, coaching and people management skills
- The ability to motivate a sales team and create a high-performance culture
- Strong commercial awareness and the confidence to make effective decisions
- A hands-on management style with a strong focus on the customer
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven dealership environment
