We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced New Car Sales Manager to join Vertu Mazda Sheffield at an important time for the dealership.
Mazda Sheffield is relocating into the same site as our established Nissan Sheffield dealership, with the showroom undergoing a full refurbishment to create a fresh, modern environment for both our customers and colleagues. As we prepare for this next chapter, we’re now looking for a New Car Sales Manager to lead the Mazda sales team and drive the performance of the brand at the site.
We are offering a competitive basic salary of £40,000 with an OTE of £60,000, a company car, and a full range of company benefits.
About The Role
As New Car Sales Manager, you’ll take responsibility for leading and developing the Mazda new car sales operation, creating a high-performing, customer-focused team and ensuring we maximise the opportunities presented.
You’ll play a key role in bringing that brand experience to life for our customers while building a strong and sustainable sales operation.
Your Focus Will Be On
- Leading, motivating and developing the New Car Sales team to achieve their full potential
- Driving new Mazda vehicle sales alongside finance and value-added products
- Maximising the opportunities created by the relocation and newly refurbished showroom
- Delivering sales campaigns and manufacturer initiatives in line with Mazda brand standards
- Driving performance, profitability and customer satisfaction across the department
- Ensuring all sales activity is carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and responsible selling practices
- Creating a supportive and inclusive environment where colleagues can perform at their best

About You
We’re looking for an experienced automotive sales leader who can bring energy, commercial focus and strong people leadership to the role.
You’ll Likely Bring
- Proven experience as a New Car Sales Manager, Sales Manager or General Sales Manager within a main dealership environment
- A strong track record of delivering sales performance and improving profitability
- The ability to motivate, coach and develop a successful sales team
- Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of dealership performance
- A collaborative and engaging leadership style with a passion for both people and results
- A commitment to providing an excellent customer experience and maintaining high standards of integrity
This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of the Mazda new car operation at an exciting point in the dealership’s development, leading the team from a newly refurbished showroom and helping us build the next chapter for Vertu Mazda Sheffield.
