New Graduate Vet Role – Bridge Veterinary Group - Graduate Vet Programme

An exciting opportunity is available for a New Graduate Vet to join our Bridge Veterinary Group and work between the main Hospital in Middlesbrough and branch practice in Hartlepool.

This is a full-time, permanent position based on a 40-hour working week.

The position is to start in October.

You'll be joining our friendly team of 8 Vets, 10 RVNs, 2 SVNs, 6 Receptionists, and 5 PCA support staff; all contributing to provide the best clinical care to our patients and clients across our sites.

We can be flexible and offer shifts at either Middlesbrough or Hartlepool.

There is no OOH's, and with a dedicated night team based at the Middlesbrough Hospital, excellent continuity of care is provided.

We offer a busy practice setting with opportunities to develop your own interests and advance clinical skills. Digital x-ray, Dental radiography, Doppler Ultrasound, In-house laboratory, multiparameter monitor, and much more!

All new graduates that we employ are enrolled onto our Graduate Programme, which offers an excellent level of structure and support during your first years in practice.

You will also have the opportunity to attend a Residential at the start of your employment. This will allow you to meet other new graduates and therefore establish a peer support network from the outset. It will also let you revisit essential knowledge and practice key day-one skills.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
